Consider your holidays handled.
Christmas tree decorating for homes in Eagle, Boise and Star
Elevated seasonal styling & holiday decorating
Cross “decorate the tree” off your list.
Most trees go up the same way every year. The lights get wound on in a hurry, the same ornaments land in the same spots, and there’s a bare patch nobody can quite fix. We treat a tree like any other design project: we look at the room, the ceiling and what you already own, settle on a palette, then build the tree in layers so it reads full from the sofa and from the front door.
You can hand us the bins from your garage, choose one of our collections, or have us design something new for your space. Whichever you choose, you come home to a finished tree, a swept floor and our boxes gone.

What we decorate
Our focus is the family Christmas tree, and we decorate trees for offices, shops and restaurants too.

Christmas trees at home
Branch shaping, lighting, ribbon, ornaments, topper and skirt, finished in one visit. Use the décor you own or let us source it.

How it works
Inquire
Tell us about the room, the tree and the date you want it finished. Photos of the space and your décor help us plan.
Design
We settle the palette and plan the ribbon and ornament layers. Signature clients pick a collection; Grand clients approve a mood board.
Install day
We shape every branch, light it, ribbon it and trim it, then sweep up the needles and carry our boxes out.
Takedown, if you add it
In January we pack everything by size and type into your bins and label them, so next year starts organized.
The designers behind House of Trim
We’re sisters-in-law. We grew up in Sandpoint and now raise our families in the Treasure Valley: Darbey has four kids, Madison has three.
We both studied graphic design and have each spent more than eleven years designing for a living. Proportion, color and hierarchy are the same problems on a tree as on a page. We started House of Trim out of our love for Christmas and for Christ, and it puts our design training to work on the holiday we love most.

Common questions
More on the questions page.
When should I book?
As early as you can. We’re taking a limited number of trees in 2026, and there are only a handful of install days between Thanksgiving (November 26) and the first week of December.
Do you decorate fresh trees as well as artificial ones?
Yes. Fresh trees need a day in the stand before we arrive. The branches drop and settle overnight, and we want to shape them after that happens, not before.
Can you use the ornaments I already have?
That’s exactly what the Essential Trim is for. We work with your lights, ribbon, topper and ornaments, and we’ll tell you if a few new pieces would make a real difference.
How long does an install take?
Plan on three to five hours, depending on height and how much ribbon is going on. Branch shaping alone can take an hour on a 9-foot artificial tree, and it’s the step that makes the biggest difference.
